Beautiful Evening
Left work early and walked just over a mile downriver to the tennis courts at Shadwell Park.
Played a close match with a nice Belgian guy called Louis, and then ambled back to the office to change and go home.
Maybe it was the endorphins, but the walk by the river past all the converted warehouses and stairways and narrow cobbled streets seemed magical. It warm and sunny and bright and vivid in a way Britain seldom is and the redevelopment has created a really pleasant area I'd never visited before.
