Time Change

Wow - my last post here was in high summer, and now just a few days ago the clocks went back to GMT and we're in the autumn with winter to look forward to.

Despite the summer never really happening (August was as usual grey and rather cold) it's been a wonderful year weather wise. There was a long sunny warm spring, a grey but dry summer, and then a wonderfully warm and sunny September and October.
Being self employed, I managed to take advantage of the bright sunny days and play a lot of tennis and go on a walk or two. There was also the chance to go to the cinema, and in quick succession we enjoyed Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy and Steven Soderbergh's very intelligent and restrained look at a worldwide flu epidemic Contagion.

Now it's time to go back to work and for once I'm a permanent employee (for a year at least) covering for a lady whose taking maternity leave. It'll be nice to head back to central London and work with some new people.
